HAR SUMMARY, LOCALLY

Summarize requests in a HAR file.

Summarize HAR request methods, hosts, response statuses, recorded durations, and sizes in your browser, with private URL and header data omitted.

Files up to 10 MiB. Reading happens in this tab.

Paste JSON or choose a file, then summarize. Up to 10,000 requests.

Paste HAR JSON or choose a local .har file.

What the summary shows

The tool reads the HAR log.entries request records and summarizes method, host and path, response status, recorded duration, response content size, and media type. It counts hosts and statuses and calculates the mean of recorded non-negative durations and the sum of known response content sizes. Missing or invalid optional measurements show as unknown; negative “unknown” size values are excluded.

URLs are reduced to origin and path: query strings and fragments are omitted. Header names and values, cookies, request/response bodies, and raw timestamps are not displayed. A path can still contain private information, so review the result before sharing. Inputs are limited to 10 MiB of text and 10,000 entries; at most 500 request rows are shown. Example: entries for https://example.test/api?token=secret and a 503 response show https://example.test/api and status 503; the query value is omitted. Page content updated November 3, 2026.

Good to know

Does this upload my HAR file?

No. The file is read by this browser tab and the summary is computed locally; no upload is made by this tool.

Are all private values removed?

Header values, cookies, bodies, URL queries, and fragments are not shown. URL paths may still contain private identifiers, so review the displayed paths before sharing.

Why are some sizes or durations unknown?

HAR exports can use negative sizes for unavailable measurements or omit values. Unknown and negative values are not treated as measured sizes or durations.

Does this include every request row?

Counts and aggregates cover up to 10,000 parsed entries; the table shows at most the first 500 rows to keep the page responsive.

Is it free?

Yes, during beta. Optional usage-credit plans are coming soon. Payments are not available and no credits are required.

HAR field names and entry structure follow the HTTP Archive format. Checked November 3, 2026.

How it works

1. Paste HAR JSON or choose a local HAR file. 2. Review request, host, status, duration, and response-size summaries. 3. Inspect paths before sharing; processing stays in this browser tab.
